Summit Tutoring Refund Policy

At Summit Tutoring, we strive to provide the highest quality tutoring services. We understand that circumstances may arise that necessitate a refund. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are granted.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

a. Cancellation by Student

  • Single Session Cancellation:
    • 24-Hour Notice: If you cancel a scheduled tutoring session at least 24 hours before the session start time, you are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling without penalty.
    • Less than 24-Hour Notice: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session are non-refundable.
  • Package Cancellation:
    • Unused Sessions: Refunds for unused sessions in a tutoring package are available upon request, less any applicable discounts applied for package pricing.
    • Used Sessions: No refunds are provided for sessions that have already been conducted.

b. Cancellation by Tutor

If a tutor cancels a session, you are entitled to a full refund for that session or may choose to reschedule at no additional cost.

2. How to Request a Refund

  • Information Required: Include your name, account email, session details, and the reason for the refund request.

3. Processing Refunds

  • Time Frame: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval.
  • Method of Refund: Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment unless otherwise specified.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

  • No-Shows: If you fail to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the session fee is non-refundable.
  • Late Arrivals: Tutors will wait up to 15 minutes for late arrivals. Sessions that start late due to student tardiness will still end at the scheduled time and are non-refundable.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

  • Technical Issues: If technical difficulties on our end prevent a session from occurring, you are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling.
  • Unsatisfactory Service: If you are unsatisfied with a session, please contact us within 24 hours to discuss potential remedies, which may include a refund or complimentary session.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
